CHAD ULANSKY, President & CEO, Director
Mr. Chad Stanley Ulansky, B.Sc., PGeo, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Northern Uranium Corp. (formerly known as MPVC Inc.) since March, 2014. He served as the Vice President Exploration of Northern Uranium Corp. from April 2013 until March 2014. Mr. Ulansky has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Metalex Ventures Ltd. since November 2, 2006 and Chief Executive Officer and President of Cantex Mine Development Corp. since February 2, 2009. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Cantex Mine Development Corp. from August 23, 2005 to January 29, 2009, and its Secretary until January 29, 2009.
JASON GRANGER, Director
Jason Granger, CPA, is the Chief Operating Officer of Kel-Ex Development Ltd., which is part of a privately owned group of companies based in Kelowna, BC. He has held this position since February of 2020.
Mr Granger has over 20 years of experience in capital markets, corporate finance and accounting in a range of sectors including industrials and natural resources. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and subsequently worked with BMO Capital Markets in equity research covering Transportation and Industrials. He moved on to work in corporate development, investor relations and transaction diligence roles for Newalta (oilfield services), Diversified Royalty Corp., and Ernst & Young, before joining Kel-ex Development. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Cantex Mine Development Corp.
GEORGIA KNIGHT, Director
Georgia Knight has been a business and management executive and corporate administrative consultant to various publicly traded companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange since the 1990s and has a 25-year background in securities and finance related matters, along with more than two decades as office administrator for a boutique securities law firm. Ms Knight has been a director of publicly traded companies since 1999 and has completed The Canadian Securities course and Simon Fraser University’s Business Administration and Corporate Governance & Regulatory Compliance courses.
VINCENT TEO, Director
Vincent Teo is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) and specialized in public company financial reporting for over 13 years. Mr. Teo served as Director and Audit Committee member and CFO of Empire Metals Corp since 2016.; he has also served as a Director and Audit Committee member of Totally Hip Technologies Inc. since 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University.
AARON TRIPLETT, Director
Aaron Triplett is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), and has accumulated over 15 years experience in the field of financial management and accounting, specializing in forecasting, compliance and risk management, and the development and monitoring of control systems. Mr. Triplett’s experience includes acting as Chief Financial Officer for various operating public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and Canadian Securities Exchange. Prior to his work with public companies, Mr. Triplett was an audit and assurance manager for a mid size public accounting firm.
Jennifer Irons, CFO
Jennifer Irons, CPA, CA is the Chief Financial Officer of Metalex Ventures Ltd. and Cantex Mine Development Corp. She has held these positions since October 2013.
Ms. Irons graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and began her accounting career with KPMG in 2003. Prior to joining Metalex and Cantex in 2013, Ms. Irons held the position of Manager with a Kelowna based accounting firm where she served both individual and corporate clients.
DR CHARLES FIPKE, Geological Consultant
Mr Fipke received an honours degree in Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1970 and was awarded an honourary Doctorate of Technology from Okanagan University College. He worked as an exploration and research geologist for Kennicott Copper in New Guinea, Samedan Minerals in Australia, Johannesburg Consolidated Investments (“JCI”), in South Africa and Cominco in Canada and Brazil. In 1977 he founded CF Mineral Research, which is amongst the leading heavy mineral and diamond exploration research laboratories in the world. For the past 25 years he has been involved in heavy mineral exploration projects for diamonds as well as base and precious metals worldwide. He founded Dia-Met Minerals Ltd. in 1984 and Cantex Mine Development Corporation in 1996. As Chairman of both companies, he has led his teams using his patented and proprietary heavy mineral technologies to discover the Ekati Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories as well as three large copper-nickel-platinum deposits and two significant gold deposits in Yemen. He his also the Chairman of the Board of Metalex Ventures Ltd. Dr. Fipke has been the author and co-author of several publications on diamond exploration worldwide including the first publication on Diamond Exploration published by the Geological Survey of Canada.
