Chad Ulansky, B.Sc.

Mr. Chad Stanley Ulansky, B.Sc., PGeo, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Northern Uranium Corp. since March, 2014. He served as the Vice President Exploration of Northern Uranium Corp. from April 2013 until March 2014.
Mr. Ulansky has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Metalex Ventures Ltd. since November 2, 2006 and Chief Executive Officer and President of Cantex Mine Development Corp. since February 2, 2009.
Jennifer Irons, CPA, CA
CFO and Director
Ms. Irons is the Chief Financial Officer of Metalex Ventures Ltd. and Cantex Mine Development Corp. She has held these positions since October 2013.
Ms. Irons graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and began her accounting career with KPMG in 2003. Prior to joining Metalex and Cantex in 2013, Ms. Irons held the position of Manager with a Kelowna based accounting firm where she served both individual and corporate clients.
Mr. Frolick is a graduate of the University of Windsor School of Law, Windsor, Ontario and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1976 and to the BC Bar in 1982. Currently he is crown Counsel in Penticton for the Attorney General of British Columbia and a member of the Board of Directors of Cantex Mine Development Corp.
Mr. Frolick is also an accomplished writer and is the author of Descent into Madness and Fire into Ice, the story of the founder of the Ekati Diamond Mine.
David Cowan is a retired partner of McMillan LLP, who was a member of the Capital Markets and M&A Group. David acted on behalf of clients involved in a wide variety of endeavours, including companies with mineral properties in Central and South America, hi-tech companies developing and marketing computer software and hardware and e-commerce businesses. In representing these clients, he advised on a broad range of matters such as initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, public and private financings, stock options and other employment related issues, corporate governance issues as well as proxy fights, takeover defence mechanisms and corporate restructurings.
David represented numerous publicly traded companies, including TSX-Venture and TSX listed companies. He also advised non-public entities on securities and corporate finance matters. Prior to joining the firm, David worked with the provincial government, including the BC Securities Commission, and was involved in the drafting of securities legislation.
Dr. Charles Fipke
Mr Fipke received an honours degree in Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1970 and was awarded an honourary Doctorate of Technology from Okanagan University College. He worked as an exploration and research geologist for Kennicott Copper in New Guinea, Samedan Minerals in Australia, Johannesburg Consolidated Investments (“JCI”), in South Africa and Cominco in Canada and Brazil.
In 1977 he founded CF Mineral Research, which is amongst the leading heavy mineral and diamond exploration research laboratories in the world. For the past 25 years he has been involved in heavy mineral exploration projects for diamonds as well as base and precious metals worldwide. He founded Dia-Met Minerals Ltd. in 1984 and Cantex Mine Development Corporation in 1996. As Chairman of both companies, he has led his teams using his patented and proprietary heavy mineral technologies to discover the Ekati Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories as well as three large copper-nickel-platinum deposits and two significant gold deposits in Yemen. He his also the Chairman of the Board of Metalex Ventures Ltd. Dr. Fipke has been the author and co-author of several publications on diamond exploration worldwide including the first publication on Diamond Exploration published by the Geological Survey of Canada.
